Fifth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Tigers, 10-0
The Tigers beat Waterloo 10-0 in five innings on Wednesday at WHS after an eight-run explosion in the fifth inning.
Thomas Eslich racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Tigers. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
The Tigers went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI
single by Andrew David. David was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIS on the night, his
hits were an RBI single and a deep triple that one hopped the wall in
left center field.
Reed Fichter and Danny Border combined for a 2 hit, 5 inning shut out on the mound for the Tigers.
