On this day six Massillon Tigers came together in the library of Massillon Washington High School for one last effort together as Massillon Tiger football players. Today is National Signing Day, THE day when all of the hard work, early mornings, late nights, blood, sweat and tears culminate into one great accomplishment. The opportunity to take their skills to the next level of a sport they love and cherish so much.
The road for them was not easy and nobody ever told them it would be. That is why on this day it is OK to shed a tear or two in public because hard work does pay off and it opens the door to many more opportunities.
Joined by their parents, siblings, close friends, coaches and local supporters these six men signed their name for a ticket to a new destination. An opportunity to write a new chapter in their lives.
Congratulations; Brody Tonn (Walsh), Joe Hallet (Baldwin Wallace), Kentrell Taylor (Kent State), Gareon Conley (Ohio State), Kyle Kempt (Oregon State), Anthony McCarthy (Ashland).
